Jamm for Genes 2008!

With thirty live music venues and over sixty musicians playing for the Jeans for Genes campaign, it will be no surprise that Jamm for Genes 2008 is a rocking success. Events ranged from the staff at Allens Arthur Robsinson performing in their Sydney office to Canterbury-Hurlstone Park RSL displaying a showcase of country music with a massive 15 artists performing live including The McClymonts. Kids on Fourth in Queensland held a disco and Dept Mines & Energy in Rockhampton hosted a BBQ with local bands in the forecourt of their building raising funds with a raffle and a dress up your jeans competition. Anthony Hurst from RAW Music and Media got the Central Coast involved organising three venues with Erina Fair and Star FM radio station supporting the local gigs. Matthew Davies aka OhMy Kidd from The Pocket put together a virtual Jamm for Genes online, by far the most unique event to date. Thank you to all involved in Jamm for Genes!
